Thanks to all volunteers who turned out. Litter picking, pond clearance, weeding and building rockery beds for fern planting. We removed rocks and logs from the pond and raked out loads of smelly mud to put on the beds as a mulch. We're experimenting with cutting down the green reedy stuff on one side of the bridge to see if that helps control its spread. |
