What's in the Park?
Basketball There are basket ball courts in Victoria Park which are free to use.
Tennis courts
The tennis courts adjacent to the main park gates are run by Scotstoun Leisure Centre. The courts have all been upgraded by Lawn Tennis Scotland Nets and all you need is your own racquets and balls. Booking via the link below:-

and is payable during weekends and evenings and free at all other times.
Fossil Grove
You can normally visit the Fossil Grove from 12 noon to 4 pm on the third Sundays of the month from April to October. More info here
Play Area, Cafe and Toilets
These are located in the centre of the park, at the west end of the pond. The play area is open at all times, but the opening times of the cafe van and toilet block are variable.

Open Spaces
There are ample spaces to walk dogs, play games and have a picnic, and there are some special areas such as the biodiversity garden (in the NE corner), the Arboretum (on the east side) and certain areas where we are encourging biodiversity by working with the Council to reduce grass-cutting and pesticide use.
Park Run for adults
The Victoria Park Run is part of the worldwide Park Run movement. The 5K run takes place at 9.30 on Saturday mornings with an average turnout of more than 200. Park runs are free to participants and volunteers turn out every week to help. To take part, you need to register on the website and download a barcode which you can then use to give you your run times.

Park run for children
There is also a children’s run for 4 to 14 year olds on Sunday mornings at 9.30.

Buggy fit
Mums with babies in prams can get fit and meet new friends through Buggy fit on Wednesday and Friday mornings and a bootcamp on Saturday mornings - for more information email [email protected] or check the website.

Unfortuately the bowling greens and putting course are no longer in use.
