Saturday 15th March Volunteer Day

Last Saturday 15th March, in some lovely sunshine, Friends held another great volunteeer day and we had a good turnout of 11 volunteers including some young folk. We were gardening in the beds near the formal flower beds and had great fun with the weeding !!

So thanks to all our volunteers for helping.

Both semi-circular beds cleared of weed. Some free mulch from the depot might be useful. Loads of mulch was barrowed round from the depot and we covered a couple of the pre-weeded bigger shrub beds in the main grass area.
